STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has landed its third defensive commitment flip in as many days as former Iowa State edge rusher De’Marion ‘DJ’ Williams has committed to the Cowboys.
This comes a day before the Pokes and Cyclones face off in a Halloween night game up in Ames, IA.
Williams checks in at 6-4, 225 pounds and is out of Clay-Chalkville in Pinson, AL. He decommitted from Iowa State on Oct. 28, but holds offers from OSU, Iowa State, Mississippi State, Wake Forest, Memphis, Missouri State, South Alabama, South Florida and Tulane among others.
This past season as a junior, Williams recorded 80 total tackles, 16 tackles for loss, seven sacks, two pass break ups and one interception.
The Cougars are currently 7-1 overall on the season this year, with Williams recorded 21 total tackles through those games, 16 of which have been solo stops. He also has 9.0 tackles for loss with 5.0 sacks, three QB hurries and one pass break up.
Williams is now the 16th commitment in the 2027 class, the eighth on the defensive side of the ball.
