Week One Former Cowboys Stoner, Wallace, and Hill in Vegas
STILLWATER – Interesting as the NFL releases their 2021 schedule and while so many fans are talking about the Thursday night league opener with the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and quarterback Tom Brady hosting the Dallas Cowboys and former Cowboy back Blake Jarwin coming off a knee injury, Oklahoma State fans see an opportunity for two of their rookie receivers in the NFL to go head to head in the desert. Dillon Stoner, who we spoke to the other day fresh off of his rookie minicamp with the Raiders could be opening his regular season NFL career in Las Vegas with former teammates in wide receiver Tylan Wallace and running back Justice Hill on the other sideline with the Baltimore Ravens. That is the first Monday night game on ESPN/ABC at 7:15 central time.
Stoner is not the only former Oklahoma State player with the Raiders as Marcell Ateman is on the roster as well.
In preseason, while the dates aren’t finalized there are some chances to see some former Cowboys in key match-ups as Chuba Hubbard and Carolina will host the Baltimore Ravens and Tylan Wallace and Chuba’s buddy Justice Hill in week two of the preseason anywhere between Aug. 20-22.
Closer to home, the Houston Texans and former Green Bay Packer guard Lane Taylor and former Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Vincent Taylor will be at Dallas against Blake Jarwin, again sometime Aug. 20-22.
