Oklahoma State coach Kenny Gajewski said it was as good a start in an NCAA Regional as he's had as Cowgirls head coach. Oklahoma State moved on to day two of the Stillwater Regional with a run-rule win.
Following the Big 12 Tournament the Oklahoma State softball team didn't get right back to grinding. Instead, the Cowgirls got away and went swimming and hiking.
It was not pretty, but it was a winning effort with a clutch, powerful seventh inning that was followed by a sloppy bottom half of the frame. It added up to 2-0 in pool play.

After setting the school all-time consecutive win streak record on Friday night sweeping host LSU, the Cowgirls lost for the first time on Saturday as the road trip continues.
