2023 Big 12 Final Predictions, This Is the One You Can Hold Me To

Not a big fan of predictions...too many variables across any game and the long season...but I like your approach. I would cut off my arm and eat my hat for this to be true at the end!

new DC, new odd man front, new offense, new QB, new RB, new WRs, new TE, almost half the freaking team is new to OSU... I'm an optimist but YIPES, this is going to be nothing but a week-by-week nail bite season.

It's just fun to guess at this point. I do think the whole conference will try their best to ding UT and OU as often as possible. It will be fun rooting against them game after game. For OSU to pull off a great season, we need a running back to be a star. Hope that occurs. I'm optomistic about the other offensive position groups including Bowman at QB. And I think Dickey finally has a complete hand to play. Bray, Green and Presley need to stay healthy.

Pokes will surprise because they're not supposed to. Bowman pulls a Weeden. O-line, laden with seniors, is consistently solid. Running back trio of Gordon, Collins & Nixon establish run game allowing Bowman to thrive throwing to best receiving corps in Big 12 (Presley, Bruce, Bray, Green, Owens, Shettron, Stribling). The aggressive defense once again becomes known for getting sacks & turnovers. New defense shows off skills at every level ... 346 lb monster nose tackle Kirkland; 6-5 285 beast DE Goodlow; the slimmed down 235 lb LB Oliver; the best Safety in Big 12 Daniels lean/mean at 6-4, 215 lbs; CB Harris transfer senior from Ark St surprises, as does redshirt freshman CB McKinney! 11 or 12 victories & they will win the Big 12 title because everyone is telling them they won't!!!
