STILLWATER – Our sources say this realignment is now practically a “done deal.” As Brettt McMurphy of Action Sports reported early on Thursday, Aug. 3 the state regents in Arizona for both the University of Arizona and Arizona State University will meet at 7: 05 p.m. central time and go immediately into executive session.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
The geographic map of the Big 12 *sixteen teams is all over the place.
How would you configure the teams?
Looking forward to your thoughts.

(*Assuming ASU, UA, and Utah join.)

4 pods, (1 west team, 1 central team, 1 texas team, 1 East team)

move the teams in each pod bi-annually.

Very simple.

This stuff is just not that hard.

It is the east grouping that seems most difficult to me.

yeah... NO GROUPING.... avoid grouping.

One from each geographic quadrant, and don't make them permanent pods.

Give everybody and equal chance at travel and recruiting hot beds.

If everybody changes pods every 2 years or so, then that will give the "media" something to talk about and keep the conference relevant and on the lips of the news

we have 4 Texas teams, 4 new teams, 4 four-corners teams, and 4 central (KU, OSU, KSU, ISU) (swapping Houston for WVU) to get to 4 Texas teams.

one from each in all for pods.

Then move them around every 2 years (after home-n-home) .... it's not that hard
