Lots of Eye Popping Stats by Cowboy Commits and Offers Led by Shaker Reisig

STILLWATER – In Oklahoma there was at least a little surprise in how thoroughly Tulsa Union dominated Owasso 55-22. A major reason was Oklahoma State 2025 quarterback offer Shaker Reisig. It was also an easy night for Del City and Oklahoma State running back pledge Rodney Fields, in our opinion the top running back prospect in the state of Oklahoma. We also have an ipdate on Oklahoma State quarterback target Maealiuaki Smith.

SHaker Reisig

We start with Reisig, who was just offered by Oklahoma State a couple of weeks ago, but Reisig has been on the Cowboys radar for some time having been to multiple camps on the OSU campus including “The Show” camp and he has worked with OSU quarterbacks coach Tim Rattay and they have a good working relationship. Reisig was dominant on Friday night with 22-of-28 passing for 322 yards and five touchdowns.

His passing touchdowns in order covered 62-yards, 24-yards, 48, 28, and finally two-yards. Reisig, who is athletic and can run also had a six-yard touchdown run.

The quarterback on Oklahona State’s list for the 2024 class is Maealiuaki Smith of Juniperro Serra High School. The Padres are the top-ranked school in the Bay Area and last Saturday lit up venerable Kezar Stadium, an historic venue with a 61-0 win over Sacred Heart Cathedral. It is the most points scored in that rivalry by Serra during their current 16 game win streak.

Smith, who is approaching 1,000-yards passing on the season hit his tight end Cole Harrison for a touchdown pass and then scored on a four-yard touchdown run to close out the first half scoring. Serra cruised to their fourth straight win on the season.

Smith is believed to be a strong lean for Oklahoma State as the quarterback in their 2024 class.

Fields in action.

Rodney Fields of Del City got a light night as the Eagles opened district play with a 73-0 win over East Central. The starters did not play long as Fields had seven carries for 39-yards and a pair of touchdowns. Fields on the season has 38 carries for 453-yards and an average of 11.9-yards per carry and eight touchdowns.

Fields has speed, power, and amazing vision and change of direction.

We need Fields now. Obviously, could use some help at QB too. Sigh....

We won 45-0 this past Friday. We are idle this week and will begin district play the next. We are ranked #3 in 4A Division 2. Thanks for checking in...
