MORGANTOWN, WV – Watching back at the coach’s video there is always good and bad when you look back on a game. Now, when it is a 48-34 road victory at West Virginia there is going to be more good and there is going to be more excitement. Are you kidding? Running back Ollie Gordon II is being lauded as one of, if not the best running back in the nation after rushing for 282-yards and four touchdowns on 29 carries.

Fun game to watch. We went to Morgantown two years ago. Beautiful place. Wish we had been there again this time! Ollie was obviously the star, but really liking Bowman's playing too. What a great pass to Bray on the deep sideline throw.

I agree Orangeheart… I had a blast watching the game. I turn the volume down on the TV broadcast and listen to Hunziker & crew make the call… we had a lot of "Pistols Firing" Saturday! Go Pokes!!

It would be interesting to know how close we are to playing 2nd string OL players given the loss of one co-starter at left guard. I know we play Michalski(sp) some at Guard or Tackle. Are any other backups getting in? It's an unfortunate reality that we're unlikely to keep this line intact with only six bodies the rest of the season.

I know Miterko came in on one snap for Springfield at RT. Mr. Robert had mentioned earlier last week that he had been taking snaps at tackle in practice. Cooper played the whole game at LT. Birmingham & Brooks have been platooning at LG and when Brooks went down Birmingham played the rest of the game there. Wilson played all his snaps at RG. While Michalski our center was the highest-grade offensive lineman last week, Springfield received the highest grade this week playing RT. The great thing is they are playing better each week. If anything this shows you the grit of these players. 5-6 weeks ago they tuned out the noise and put their nose to the grindstone. The results have been amazing. Prayers for Brooks that his injury is minor and that he will bounce back soon. As far as the next man up, that is Coach's call. They know who they are. Mr. Robert probably has a good idea as well because he sees who gets reps in practice. I have confidence that whoever it is they will be ready. Go Pokes!!
