Ollie Gordon II is One-Step Closer to Unanimous All-American Status
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State sophomore running back and the nation’s leading rusher with 1,614-yards and 20 rushing touchdowns continues his pursuit of unanimous All-American honors. He is already consensus and by making The Sporting News All-America team he is now one away from unanimous and that would be the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-America Team. Gordon II is already on the Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, USA-Today, Walter Camp, ESPN, The Athletic, Pro Football Focus, Sports Illustrated, and several other teams.
The teams that count in consensus and unanimous honors are the AP, Walter Camp, FWAA, Sporting News, and AFCA teams.
The AFCA All-America team is set to be released on Thursday (Dec. 14) morning. We will know then that Gordon II is a unanimous All-American.
