Oklahoma State Baseball Collects Academic Honors
IRVING, Texas – Oklahoma State had 13 student-athletes named to the 2024 Academic All-Big 12 Baseball Team, including 11 on the first team.
Highlighting the list of Cowboys is Jaxson Crull, who earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors for the third time in his career with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
Five other Cowboys collected Academic All-Big 12 First Team accolades for the second time as Drew Blake, Ryan Bogusz, Ian Daugherty, Zach Ehrhard and Riley Taylor earned that distinction.
Also earning spots on the first team were Colin Brueggemann, Evan O'Toole, Brennan Phillips, Nolan Schubart and Tyler Wulfert.
A pair of Cowboys were named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team as Gabe Davis and Janzen Keisel achieved that honor.
Academic All-Big 12 First Team members consist of those student-athletes who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA, while the second-team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the previous two semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
