These posts are always fun. I pretty much agree with Pokes final regular season record but I think the championship game may be a rematch with Utah. We are going to learn a lot about this team, especially the defense, in the first two games.

I've said for weeks on my radio show I believe there are seven teams capable of winning the Big 12 this year. I've got Oklahoma State, Utah, Arizona, Kansas, Kansas State, West Virginia and UCF, but not necessarily in that order. This season has the chance to be a really entertaining one based on parity.

Why all the FEAR of TCU, they were badly damaged by the portal, especially losing a high quality dominant nose tackle/defensive tackle to ZERO U after the spring period before the last portal closed?????????
My prediction is also 10-2 with losses to K State and BYU out in Provo!!! We end up PLAYING CENTRAL FLORIDA FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP IN DALLAS!!!

With losses to only KSU and BYU, the pokes make it 3 of 4 years and return to Dallas for a rematch with the Utes.

I thought I was the only one that high on WV?
I think Greene will push Ollie for B12 OPOY.
But nobody really knows!! That's what makes it fun!

I think Neal Brown is gonna have WVU pretty dangerous this season. Now, I could be wrong as I certainly didn't expect them to win nine games last season, but I just have a feeling they're gonna be salty.

Neal Brown has a very good team. I like Utah and it could very well be Utah. I don't like their last regular season game at UCF. Tough place to play and UCF is good, by then we will know if they are sleeper top of the league good or if they fade.

The TCU situation is they do have talent and Oklahoma State has not won in Fort Worth since 2016. They have lost to some average TCU teams. I like that the game is in November.

Bottom line... These games are all hard to win. Come out anu Saturday and play down, play sloppy, and make mistakes and you can get beat. Against good team you can play well and get beat. Fans don't or I should say rarely give the competition their just respect.

I hope you guys are correct about Arkansas. First two games could really set a tone for the season. Lose to the dangerous Jack Rabbits could be unrecoverable. Because Arkansas is under performing doesn't mean they don't have strong athletes and have played a lot of big games.

Let's get to the Utes 3-0!!

I agree. You lose to South Dakota State despite their success then the only way to make the CFP is to win the BIg 12. You lose to a FCS team even the two-time champion that is ranked No. 1 then you're not going to the CFP unless you win the Big 12.

Arkansas is good, but right now I'm hearing they are a little bit of a sh** show.

The Hawgs deserve the poop show as it was of their own making

Isn't it amazing the number of really good head coaches in this league!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gundy, Whittingham, Klieman, Brown, Liepold, Dykes, Malzahn, Willie Fritz at Houston, Campbell at Iowa State, and one I think will emerge in the next couple of years is Dillingham at Arizona State!!!

I don't know. Campbell has underachieved with above average to great talent. He's solid, but not great.

I agree on Dillingham. He is an alum and he cares deeply about that program. He has made solid moves thus far, but they need to be patient. That program was in worse shape when he took it over than most people realized. Be patient ASU and Dillingham may develop and give you a long-term successful head coach.

No, but Manhattan and Fort Worth have been tough locales to deal with. Kansas State is really good and I believe by the time the Cowboys get to TCU they will be better and good enough to push the envelope that day.
