Injury Report: 2024 Opener vs. South Dakota State

STILLWATER – As kickoff nears for Oklahoma State’s opener against South Dakota State, the injury news on the Cowboys is good. There isn’t a single player on the first line of the depth chart who will miss the game with the Jackrabbits.

After 24 practices, and many of those in full pads or helmets and shoulder pads, Oklahoma State is in good health.

Back-up linebacker Justin Wright, who was coming off a knee injury in 2023, was having a productive camp and was going to play a bunch, but another knee injury, different and not requiring surgery, will keep him out for a period of time. He will be back this season.

Receiver Jalen Pope is out with a broken jaw. He, too, will be back this season. Another receiver out is Da’Wain Lofton with a finger injury.

Defensive back Kam Franklin is out with an injury but should be back very soon.

That is pretty much it as the rest of the squad is good to go.
