It was announced Monday morning former Oklahoma State linebacker and safety, Kendal Daniels, is transferring to Oklahoma.

Daniels had a challenging redshirt junior season as a linebacker in 2024, recording 64 total tackles, 45 of which were solo stops, 2.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks. He also had seven pass break ups and three quarterback hurries.

Those numbers are down from his impressive 2023 season where he recorded 105 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and two interceptions.

He earned honorable mention All-Big 12 following 2023.

But as a true freshman, Daniels set the bar very high for his career as he recorded 71 total tackles, 45 solo stops, 6.5 tackles for loss, three interceptions, five pass break ups and four quarterback hurries.

For his efforts, the safety out of Beggs, OK, was named the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year, Second Team All-Big 12 and a Freshman All-American.

LOLOLOL, looks like another 6-7 season especially since he lost the DC, who was actually the bright spot on their coaching staff, to CASH STRAPPED WEST VIRGINIA OF ALL PLACES! How did Trace Ford do, any All American recognition!

I wish Kendal all the best. I think it was a big mistake to move him to linebacker and then fail to coach him up at that postion. He seemed lost on the field too many times last year. Let's see if he gets coached up at OU and regains his Freshman pizzazz!
