STILLWATER – Mike Gundy and Co. have officially joined Steve Lutz and Co. in offering 2027 prospect, Kavian Bryant.

Bryant reported a basketball offer from the Pokes as a combo guard back in late July.

Checking in at 6-3, 180 pounds, Bryant is a quarterback out of Palestine, TX, at Westwood High School, where he helped lead the Panthers to an 11-1 overall record as a sophomore this past season.

He currently holds more than 10 offers, including Arizona, Arkansas, Baylor, Florida State, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas Tech among others.

While the Westwood coaches haven’t updated Bryant’s sophomore stats on MaxPreps yet, he had a stellar freshman season, completing 68% of his passes for 2,282 yards and 33 touchdowns to just seven picks. He was also prolific on the ground as he rushed for 812 yards and nine touchdowns on 78 carries.

Dave Campbell’s Texas Football rates Bryant as a four-star prospect, as does 247Sports.

On the basketball side of things, Bryant’s received offers from Arizona State, California, OSU, Texas and Texas Tech.
