Braylin Presley, Oklahoma’s Best 2022 Playmaker, Commits to Oklahoma State
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has just landed one of its biggest targets in the 2022 recruiting class!
Bixby star athlete Braylin Presley has announced his pledge to the Cowboys on Wednesday at a team function in Bixby. Pokes Report will have an exclusive interview with Presley up shortly.
During his career at Bixby, Presley has racked up 3,873 yards and 58 touchdowns on the ground as well as 1,019 yards and 16 touchdowns on the receiving end. He has been honored as a two-time MaxPreps All-American. He is also a multi-time state champion with the Spartans.
The Cowboys have long been considered favorites to land Presley’s services with his family line being connected to Oklahoma State. His older brother, Brennan, is a wide receiver for the Cowboys and is set to be an offensive leader this fall.
The Bixby standout holds 17 total offers, most of which are power five, including Army, Baylor, Kansas, Louisville, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas Tech and West Virginia. He released a top eight list just a few weeks ago but has seen all he needs to in Oklahoma State and has shut his recruitment down.
His recruiting process really took off after an early November game, which saw him account for over 400 yards and five touchdowns on a nationally televised game on ESPN.
Presley is ranked as a four-star prospect and is an offensive weapon no matter the position he is playing on the field. He has spent most of his time at Bixby in the backfield but will be considered an athlete in Oklahoma State’s offense, probably getting quite a bit of playing time in the slot.
There’s also a chance he’ll be utilized in the return game.
Presley is the ninth commitment in the class of 2022 for the Cowboys and the fifth on the offensive side of the ball. His commitment once again propels the Cowboys into the top-10 range of recruiting classes nationally.
His pledge just adds to the extremely impressive haul of offensive playmakers joining 4-star running backs Ollie Gordon and CJ Brown as well as in-state receiver commit Mason Gilkey. Having four-star quarterback Garret Rangel running an offense with these guys is certainly something to be excited about for Oklahoma State fans.
