Pokes Report Podcast: Spring Football Wrap Up
STILLWATER – With Oklahoma State’s spring football season officially behind us, the Pokes Report crew got together on Tuesday to record our spring football wrap up.
With spring football getting canceled last year due to the pandemic, this year’s practices and spring game felt a lot more exciting and fulfilling.
If you’re a Pokes Report premium subscriber, you’ve read articles since the beginning of spring football about the growth of quarterback Spencer Sanders, the progression of the offensive line and how the freshmen who arrived in January have acclimated into the program (hint: it’s gone really well for them.)
While we didn’t learn too much of any real substance at the spring game on Saturday, we did get our first full looks at some of the freshmen, the progression of Spencer Sanders, as well as Shane Illingworth, and had our thoughts on if the defense could be as good as last year confirmed.
Robert Allen, Marshall Levenson and myself discuss every angle of spring football, some position battles, the depth of positions, plus we even get into a little bit of NFL Draft talk.
