Ollie Gordon II Scores his First Official NFL Touchdown in Buffalo
STILLWATER – Former Oklahoma State All-American and Doak Walker Award winner Ollie Gordon II scored his first official regular season touchdown for the Miami Dolphins in a spotlight Thursday Night Football game against AFC East powerhouse Buffalo. Gordon Ii with the first Miami touchdown on the night in Buffalo and another former OSU player in speedster Tyreek Hill, both helped keep Miami in the game before they lost 31-21 to fall to 0-3 on the season. Buffalo is now 3-0.
Gordon rushed nine times for 38-yards and a 4.2-yards per carry average. He finished the 10-play, 47-yard drive in the first quarter with a two-yard touchdown run to give Miami a 7-0 lead.
In the fourth quarter of the seesaw affair, Hill caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Tua Tagovailoa to tie the game at 21-21. Hill had five receptions for 49-yards in the game.
Buffalo scored the final 10 points in the game and took the leadon Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen’s third touchdown pass of the game. Allen was a neat 22-of-28 for 213-yards and the three touchdowns.
