Oklahoma State fell to Arizona State 85-76 on the road last night. With the loss, the Cowboys fell to 16-8 overall on the season and 4-7 in Big 12 play.
Head coach Steve Lutz met with the media following the game.
“That’s what you come here for, right? If you don’t wanna play at the highest level against the best players in the best league in the country, why did you sign up for this? It’s tough – this is what competitors want. This is what people want. This will prepare you for the next level. This will prepare you for the NBA. It’ll also weed you out, too. That’s what this league does, it weeds the weak out and we’ve proven that we can fight and we’ve proven that we can be tough but on this trip man, we did not do it and, again, that’s on us.”
