By far, the best game, this season, I have seen (offense and defense) The refs had a good first half letting both teams play without calling ticky-tack fouls. (second half not so much)

The two biggest things that beat the Cowboys was poor outside shooting/turnovers in the second half and Houston being red hot from the 3-pt line in the second half. Other than that, Cowboys played good enough to win.

Take this "passing and sharing the basketball" offense to the Big 12 tournament, coupled with better shooting percentage/fewer turnovers, plus the same defensive effort and the boys could go far in the tournament.

Ben Ahmed was player of the game for me. I watched him carefully on defense and when a shot would go up, he would turn his back on the ball and find his man to screen out, then turn for the rebound. He did this consistently (the only Cowboy who did) He is going to be a force to be reckoned with next year.

I was very proud of these Cowboys effort and fight in this game especially and generally all season. I never saw any quit.
