STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has accepted a bid into the National Invitational Tournament for a second-straight season. This year the Cowboys are a second seed and will host Davidson.

Yes, that Davidson, but far removed from 2008 the days of Steph Curry in the Elite Eight.

The Wildcats come into this game with a 20-13 overall record, 10-8 in A10 play and a 7-4 record on the road. They’re led by sophomore Latvian guard Roberts Blums, who checks in 6-4, 190 pounds.

Blums has played in 31 games this season, all coming off the bench, and has averaged a team-high 12 points per game on 46% shooting from the floor and nearly 41% from 3-point range.

There’s also a familiar face on the Wildcats’ roster in former OSU commit, Parker Friedrichson out of Bixby. He’s started 32 of 33 games and is third on the stat sheet with nearly 11 points per game on 41% shooting from the floor.

As a team, the Wildcats are averaging nearly 72 points per game on 45% shooting from the floor and 36% from 3-point range. They’re bringing down 33 boards per game and nearly 14 assists and 10 turnovers per game.

On the other side, the Wildcats are holding opponents to 67 points per game on 44% shooting from the floor. Rebounds are basically a wash with nearly 34 opponent boards per game, 11.5 assists and nearly 12 turnovers per game.

As for the Cowboys, they’re averaging 84 points per game on 46% shooting from the floor and 34% from 3-point range. They’re bringing down 38 rebounds per game.

Tipoff for Tuesday’s game is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN2.
