STILLWATER – Our friends at Dave Campbell’s Texas Football, the authority on high school football in the Lone Star State, have high opinions and outstanding season projections on a pair of Oklahoma State commitments. They have predicted MVP seasons for recently moved-in Fort Bend Hightower quarterback Carson White. White, who started since midseason at Iowa Colony High School and has led them deep into the playoffs, is now at Hightower with his father, who was named offensive coordinator.

White was the first pledge in the 2027 class for head coach Eric Morris and the Cowboys. In our eyes and in those of Texas Football he is a four-star prospect.

Chayce Davis is a dynamite defensive back with size, speed, and skill to play either safety or corner. The Euless Trinity High School defender committed to the Cowboys back in June.

The Oklahoma State commitment pairs elite speed with physical presence. At 6-1, 175 pounds he can run the 200-meters in 21.15 seconds. He told Pokes Report that his last clocking at 40-yards was a 4.39 and then a 4.4. Davis can fly and in game action, he often gets the expected primary receiver on passing downs when Euless Trinity is in man coverage. Last season, he was a first-team All-District 4-6A-I.

White, and Oklahoma State commit, followed his father, an offensive coordinator, to Fort Bend Hightower this spring. He posted a 22-4 as a starter his last three years at Alvin Iowa Colony.

White chose Oklahoma State and head coach Eric Morris over a multitude of offers including seven in the Big 12. As a junior, White led the Iowa Colony to a 12-2 overall record and a berth in the quarterfinals of the Texas 5A-2 playoffs. They finished Region III District 9 play with a 6-1 record and in second place. On the season, White completed 63% of his passes for 1,963 yards and 32 touchdowns with six interceptions. He’s a dual threat quarterback. He also carried the ball for 678 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground.
