Oklahoma State received a surprise Fourth of July commitment from 2022 Colleyville (TX) Heritage corner, Dylahn McKinney.

McKinney is 6-1, 175-pounds and is a three-star prospect and the No. 64 overall corner in the 2022 class.

This past season, Colleyville (TX) Heritage finished the season with an 8-1 overall record, 5-0 in district play, with the Panthers’ lone loss coming in the third round of the Texas 5A playoffs to Mansfield Summit.

As for McKinney, he played in all nine games for the Panthers and finished with 43 total tackles, 15 quarterback hurries, seven pass breakups, two interceptions and one fumble recovery.

McKinney is the 13th overall commitment in the 2022 class for the Pokes and the second corner as he joins Cameron Epps out of Chaminade in Saint Louis, MO.

With his commitment, the Cowboys moved up four spots to No. 20 in the 247Sports composite rankings in the 2022 class.
