Injuries Impact Cowboys Again for Tulsa Game

STILLWATER – There is good news and bad news pregame for Oklahoma State in what is starting out as another up and down season with regard to injury and players. The Cowboys will be hardest hit at receiver against Tulsa as it appears that Tay Martin (ankle) will most likely be a game time decision as he’s questionable to play. That adds to the previously known injuries of Langston Anderson (foot) and freshman Blaine Green (ankle).

Then this week Braydon Johnson had a medical condition that knocked him out of the line-up. On the defensive side linebacker Devin Harper (ankle) is out and safety Tre Sterling has to sit the first half after a targeting penalty in the fourth quarter against Missouri State.

Getting Antwine back will boost the defensive line.

The good news is mostly on defense where defensive tackles Israel Antwine and Jayden Jernigan return to action along with safety Thomas Harper.

All of the above injury reports were first reported by the Cowboy Radio Network in their pregame show broadcast.

Of course, the biggest news was reported earlier in the week by Pokes Report and confirmed by Oklahoma State football and head coach Mike Gundy later in the week and that is the return of quarterback Spencer Sanders from COVID protocol causing him to miss last week’s game with Missouri State.
