Oklahoma State's Non-Conference Kickoff and TV Details Announced

STILLWATER – Kickoff and TV details for Oklahoma State football’s 2022 non-conference games were announced on Thursday afternoon. It’s time to rejoice Cowboy fans because all three matchups will be night games.

Cooper Rush and Central Michigan benefitted from an incorrect call to upset OSU in the last meeting.

The Cowboys kick the season off against Central Michigan on Thursday, September 1, with a 6 p.m. CT kick on FS1. During Mike Gundy’s time as head coach, the Cowboys are 11-0 in Thursday games, which includes an 8-0 record in regular season games.

The Cowboys will face off against Arizona State in week two of the 2022 season on Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m. CT with the game being televised on ESPN2. This marks the second time the Cowboys and Sun Devils will have played each other in Stillwater, and the first time since 1993. This weekend marks the annual Cowboy Football Reunion weekend, in which the 2002 Houston Bowl championship team will be honor at some point during the game.

The final regular season non-conference game for the Cowboys will be a 6 p.m. CT kick against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Sept. 17. That game will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+. This game also marks the first time these two programs will have faced each other.

According to the release from the Big 12, Oklahoma State’s game against West Virginia on Saturday, Nov. 26 in Stillwater will be televised on ESPN’s linear platform. Kickoff time and television details will be announced as part of either a 12-day or 6-day selection process.

In addition to the non-conference slate of games and a handful of Big 12 game details, the Big 12 has also announced the Big 12 Championship game will be played on Saturday, December 3, and will be televised on ABC. Kickoff time has yet to be announced.
