JENKS, Okla – Pokes Report is officially back into the swing of making our way out to high school games as Robert Allen was all over Oklahoma City on Thursday evening and Emma Lightfoot and myself made our way over to Jenks on Friday evening for a four-team scrimmage which featured Stillwater, Jenks, Choctaw and Sand Springs.

Stillwater features Oklahoma State 2023 offensive line commit, JaKobe Sanders, who told Pokes Report he’s recruited by Charlie Dickey as a true center. He had a really solid evening as he had several pancake blocks and multiple reps where guys avoided him.

Stillwater quarterback Gage Gundy had some great reps as well, which was expected. He made some really nice throws and certainly looks a lot more comfortable in the pocket than he did last season.

We also discovered a young 2024 running back that has some potential, but he didn’t play last season as a sophomore. Sand Springs running back Kenneth Page is certainly athletic and has the tools, but he’s just an unknown commodity at this point in his career and will hopefully grow over the next couple of seasons.

While he’s a young kid that will need to figure some stuff out, I’m certainly excited to cover the next couple of seasons and you can expect an article on him in the coming days.

Pokes Report will have multiple articles on the Stillwater scrimmage, as well as the events Robert covered in the city with the start of the season coming around next week.
