Injury Report: Spencer Sanders Expected to Play Against TCU
According to the Cowboy Radio Network, starting center Preston Wilson is out with the ankle injury he suffered against Texas Tech and Demarco Jones is out with a shoulder injury.
There are multiple Cowboys who got banged up against Texas Tech last week, but are expected to play this afternoon against TCU.
Starting quarterback Spencer Sanders is banged up from last week, but his expected to play. As is receiver Braydon Johnson and corner Korie Black.
Sanders has been very good for the Cowboys to start the year. He’s gone 104 of 169 for 1,349 yards and 12 touchdowns and two interceptions. On the ground, he’s rushed for 241 yards and six touchdowns on 58 carries.
Johnson was banged up early in the Texas Tech game and sat out with a head injury but stayed suited up on the sidelines the entire game. Johnson has 17 receptions for 360 yards and three touchdowns.
While he played a but against Tech, receiver Jaden Bray will be out against TCU. He missed the first few games of the season with an injury and was just a few steps behind last week against the Red Raiders.
Korie Black left the Tech game but finished with one tackle. On the season, Black has recorded nine total tackles and one pass break up.
