STILLWATER – Add another accolade to Oklahoma State’s 2023 signing class. Jones College defensive back Lardarius Webb Jr. was tabbed an NJCAA First Team All-American on Tuesday.

He’s set to sign with the Pokes on Signing Day, Dec. 21.

Webb, who checks in at 5-10, 170 pounds, is coming off a very good sophomore season. On the season, he finished with 28 total tackles, 15 of which were solo stops, 4.0 tackles for loss and 6 pass break ups.

As you can see in the graphic above, he led the NJCAA in interceptions with six, which goes hand-in-hand with him leading the NJCAA in interception return yards with 276, returning one for a touchdown.

He was also tabbed a First Team All-MACCC selection, marking the second selection of his career, as well as a NJCAA All-Region 23 selection.

He finished his 2021 season with 29 total tackles, 20 of which were solo stops, three tackles for loss, nine pass break ups and three interceptions for 170 yards, one taken back for a touchdown. He also had 17 punt returns for 205 yards and one touchdown.

Webb Jr. is the son of former NFL corner, Lardarius Webb, who played nine years with the Baltimore Ravens. During that career, he recorded 480 total tackles, 15 interceptions, three touchdowns and 1,532 return yards, while helping Baltimore beat San Francisco 34-31 to win Super Bowl XLVII.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Nice, is he playing CB or Hybrid for us like Thomas Harper? Between Webb, Arkansas State CB, we should have one starter, Korie, Cam Smith and Epps are all capable too.

I would imagine a bit of a hybrid like Harper, but that'll get ironed out throughout the spring and fall camp with how everyone develops and fills out the depth chart.
