I'm actually a little more enthused about what Tabry potentially brings to the field - thinking maybe he is the one that will tip the transformation of the Cowboy Back role to a power position. Tabry isn't like HS tight ends that are recruited to 'develop' into a position that has so many different facets that, to date, we have had to have "receiver CW's" and "blocker CW's" developed from recruited tight ends or players that move into the CW role from another position where they were not getting playing time. Tabry has played the O-State style CW role at Santa Fe throughout his HS playing days. The transition to P5 play should be MUCH less of a transition for him than our 'projects' in the past. Of course, I'm surely not saying that I'm not juiced about the Talyn flip, especially from the dastards down south - I think this package deal is tremendous!

Commitment Analysis: Tabry Shettron Has the Tools To Be a Big Success
Tabry Shettron is an enigma because Coach Kyle White and the staff at Edmond Santa Fe treat him almost identical to a “cowboy back” and the way Oklahoma State uses the players at that position. However, I see the athletic ability and the possibility of Tabry Shettron being a jumbo wide receiver. In fact, in several stories that I have done on him I have labeled him as a jumbo athlete thinking jumbo wide receiver.
