STILLWATER – Just a year removed from sweating out a 16-7 win over Tulsa where Mike Gundy saw his starting quarterback be done after the first two series of the game and the right side of his offensive line be done for virtually the entire season by halftime, Gundy isn’t about to poke at Tulsa following their season opening 19-17 loss to FCS UC-Davis.

sound like a low scoring game....

TU with a 3-man front and dropping 8 isn't going to give our inexperienced WR much room to operate and make chunk plays.... and holding an opponent to 88 yards rushing using a 3 man front (regardless of opponent) is a really good achievement.

We're hoping that our defense can play well and keep the Golden Twirlies out of the endzone, but stopping their rushing attack with that Aggie transfer (Prince) is going to be tough.

Plus, they get their suspended players back (and we have a targeting suspension for the 1st half)

This could be a struggle from whistle to whistle - the only wild-card will be Sanders, since we didn't get to see how much he's improved since last year. I don't really know how TU will perform against Sanders, since they didn't see him last year, and nothing so far this year....

Hoping Sanders remains healthy this year.
