Oklahoma State Makes the Cut for Four-Star Guard Rylan Griffen
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State and Mike Boynton and Co. are still in the mix to land one of the top shooting guards in the 2022 class. Rylan Griffen, a four-star out of Richardson (TX) High School, dropped his top-10 list on Wednesday, which included the Pokes.
Also included in the mix is Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Cal, Georgia, Kansas, Kansas State, North Carolina State and OU.
Griffen is a 6-5, 180-point shooting in the 2022 class. He’s listed as the No. 68 overall prospect in the country, the No. 5 overall shooting guard and the No. 6 player out of the Lone Star State.
Boynton and Co. were one of the first programs to offer Griffen back in April 2020, just behind TCU and Texas A&M, both programs who weren’t listed.
Griffen is just the latest 2022 prospect to include the Pokes in his top-schools list, as he joins five-star Yohan Traore, and four-stars Aidan Shaw, Pop-Pop Isaacs, Bryce Lindsay, Ryan Dunn and KyeRon Lindsay.
The Cowboys currently hold one commitment in the 2022 class, Mansfield (TX) Legacy guard Quion Williams, who committed in early August.
