Game Time for Kansas State Game Announced

STILLWATER – Game time for Oklahoma State’s game against Kansas State on Sept. 25 has been announced. The Pokes will host the Wildcats, with kickoff taking place at 6 p.m. CT and will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

The Cowboys have started 2-0 on the season, with wins over Missouri State (23-16) and Tulsa (28-23).

As for Kansas State, the Wildcats are also 2-0 on the season, with a 24-7 win over Stanford and a 31-23 win over Southern Illinois. The Cats will be without starting quarterback Skylar Thompson for an indefinite amount of time, announced head coach Chris Klieman announced Monday morning. Thompson left the game against Southern Illinois on Saturday with a lower leg injury.

Spencer Sanders got his first start of the season against the Golden Hurricane and went 15-of-26 for 173 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. He also led the Pokes in rushing with 10 carries for 62 yards.

Freshman receiver Jaden Bray led they way in receiving in the abscence of Tay Martin on Saturday. Bray hauled in four receptions on five targets for 84 yards and his first career touchdown.

Linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez led both sides in tackles on Saturday with 13 total stops, eight of which were solo stops. His performance was good enough to earn him Co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week.

Running back LD Brown’s 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown earned him Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week.

The Cowboys will travel to Idaho to face Boise State this Saturday, Sept. 18. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT and will be televised on FS1.
