Turning Our Recruiting “Hit List” for the Cowboys to Defense

STILLWATER – With the current 13 commitments the Cowboys have and the fact that eight of those pledges are offensive players and five are on defense, then there are some defenders to add. The additions will be primarily at linebacker and in the secondary. It is those positions where the Cowboys expect to lose the most talent and numbers.

Well this recruitment has turned into one of those that just seems like a waiting game. What I mean is, there was numerous times over the past 8 months where I expected a commitment or at least an announcement of a commitment date. I fully expect him to end up at OSU and that commitment could come at any time. It could come this week or it could come on signing day, he has given no hint of what it could be. So in the meantime, I wouldn't stress over it, some recruitments move quick and some go a bit slower.

I was at Choctaw today and spoke with Desean Brown and he told me that he has set his commitment date and will commit on Oct. 31. He said he will get more involved with his recruiting on Oct. 1. He still has made just one official visit and that was to Oklahoma State. He has made two unofficials to Arizona State and Oklahoma.
