I know Dezmon wanted to score badly, but unfortunately from our corner of the field (about the 20) it appeared he played into the defense by stringing out his run so long.....going for the corner rather than turning to the goal line sooner and taking a glancing tackle shot by their lb, db or de....whatever that defender was. I was pretty close to the play and thought he had it until he played into their hands going so far to the corner. He's like 235 if I recall and as brute as Jaylan I have thought. Too bad, but great season and if SS doesn't throw 4 interceptions (could have been 6) Jackson's run wouldn't have mattered. Amazed they had such a good chance to win at the end. And Cal.....I'm starting to agree with you without posting the issue!

Nobody Wanted to Be in the End Zone More than Dezmon
ARLINGTON, Texas – All week long there was doubt. The prevailing thought was that Jaylen Warren would be out there. An ankle injury at the end of the first half compounded the chest or sternum bruise that took place in the win over TCU and had been giving Cowboys leading rusher and possibly the offensive most valuable player Warren issues. He again practice very little during the week.
