STILLWATER – The awards keep rolling in for Oklahoma State freshman Collin Oliver. After a great first season in Stillwater, Oliver was tabbed a Freshman All-American by Pro Football Focus.
The honor marks his third All-America honor of the postseason, but definitely won’t be the last.

He was also named a semifinalist Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award, which is given out by the Maxwell Football Club.
The defensive end out of Edmond (OK) Santa Fe had a monster freshman season. He recorded 28 total tackles, 20 of which were solo stops, along with 15.0 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, four quarterback hurries and one forced fumble. He also recorded 39 pressures on 202 reps. Two of his sacks came in the fourth quarter against Oklahoma, including the game-sealing sack with less than 10 seconds left in the game.
“Oliver made his name known for being an explosive athlete who competed heavily in track and field. The four-star earned a chance to play right away as a true freshman, and his strong play cemented his status: Oliver owned a 79.9 PFF grade in his true freshman campaign. He made the biggest dent in the pass-rush, where he earned an 80.1 grade while generating 39 pressures on 202 reps.”
Oliver was also tabbed a unanimous choice for the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year, as well as named to the All-Big 12 Second Team.
