Kolby Harvell-Peel Declares for the NFL Draft
STILLWATER – After an All-American season, Oklahoma State safety Kolby Harvell-Peel has declared for the 2022 NFL Draft.
Harvell-Peel becomes the second Cowboy player to declare for the NFL Draft, as offensive lineman Josh Sills declared for the draft on Wednesday, Jan. 5.
The senior out of A&M Consolidated in College State, TX had a solid 2021 season in which he picked up multiple postseason honors. He finished the season with 67 total tackles, 39 of which were solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack. He also hauled in three interceptions, three pass break ups and one forced fumble and fumble recovery apiece.
His forced fumble and fumble recovery came on the same play in the Fiesta Bowl when he ripped the ball out of Notre Dame running back Logan Diggs’ hands less than a minute into the fourth quarter.
Following the season, Harvell-Peel earned First Team All-Big 12 status from both the league’s coaches, as well as the Associated Press. He was also tabbed a Third Team All-American by the AP as well.
