This weekend will be the first of some very important recruiting days for Oklahoma State as the Cowboys coaching staff will be hosting numerous recruits for a junior day event.

On the junior day will be a mix of recruits who have been offered, some who are just young prospects the coaches are trying to meet, and of course there will be some commitments in attendance.

Here are some of the names of recruits who have confirmed they will be in attendance:

Trey Wilson, 2023, EDGE, Lakeview Centennial (TX)

Wilson is an ultra-talented prospect who would fit into the LEO position in the Cowboys’ defense. He is a big fan of the coaching staff in Stillwater and has been on campus numerous times.  He is a 4-star prospect that is a nearing the 20-offer mark. The biggest competitor in the race to land his commitment is currently Michigan. These two schools have seemingly taken the lead.

Kam Franklin, 2023, Safety, Oak Grove (LA)

The Cowboy commit will be in town for the first time since he committed after the win over TCU. At 6’3 and 197 pounds, Franklin is a perfect mold to play safety in Stillwater. He is one of three commitments for the Cowboys in the 2023 class right now.

Jaedon Foreman, 2023, Defensive Line, Del City (OK)

Another defensive Cowboy commit will be on campus. I am a big fan of what Foreman can provide on the defensive line and his size is already impressive and continues to grow. Oklahoma State is trying to build a bit of a pipeline at Del City with Donny Stephens coming in last year and Foreman now committed with more prospects at Del City the Cowboys are pursuing.

Jaylon Braxton, 2023, Cornerback, Lone Star (TX)

Braxton comes from another school that Oklahoma State has built a pipeline at with Lone Star in Frisco, Texas. Braxton is going to be a national recruit, but the Cowboys were in it from the beginning. He has expressed great interest in the Cowboys program, and I would say there is a decent chance he ends up as a Cowboy in this class.

Jakobe Sanders, 2023, Offensive Line, Stillwater (OK)

One of the top lineman on the board for the Cowboys, this one comes from just down the street. Sanders is a powerful kid and plays with a dominating style. He is one of the top lineman in the state and is a prospect I think everyone in the West End Zone thinks will end up as a Cowboy in the future.

Kirk Francis, 2023, Quarterback, Metro Christian (OK)

Francis is a young and impressive quarterback prospect in the state of Oklahoma. He does not hold any offers yet, but he has some impressive film and measures in at 6’2 170 pounds. Being in Oklahoma, the Cowboys would automatically have some potential if they were to offer him. Francis is a proven winner as a two-time state champion.

Terrance Green, 2023, Offensive Line, Cy Woods (TX)

Green is a guy who can playing both offensive and defensive line, but the Cowboys are going after as an offensive recruit. Green holds nine offers from programs like Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech, and Houston.

Austin Havens, 2023, Quarterback, Owasso (OK)

Havens comes from one of the top schools in the state, Owasso. Havens, who is 6’4 205 pounds, does not hold any offers yet but he seems like a kid who could have a handful when it’s all said and done. He has visited before so he is comfortable and familiar with the Cowboys program.

Todd Drummond, 2023, Quarterback, Pawhuska (OK)

Drummond is yet another big framed in-state quarterback, measuring in at 6’4 190 pounds. He holds one offer from Lamar and has visited and camped at Kansas State. He visited OSU for the Bedlam win, a game I’m sure left an impression. For those in Oklahoma, he is the son of The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond.

Rohan Fluellen, 2023, Safety, Gilmer (TX)

Fluellen is an intriguing prospect as he can ball out at pretty much any position. He plays both wide receiver and defensive back at a high level, but he will be pursued as a safety in Stillwater. I was able to watch him in the playoffs and he was a one-man show, catches nine passes for 186 yards and a touchdown.

Haeven Watson, 2023, Defensive Back, San Antonio Veterans Memorial (TX)

Watson is a 5’11 165-pound prospect. He does not yet hold any offers but has proven to be a valuable prospect, securing Unanimous All District 1st Team Cornerback. He could be a prospect I see Oklahoma State offering if the visit goes well.

– There will be plenty more names on campus we can report on when we confirm who made it to campus. Pokes Report will have tons of content coming out of this weekend with some big names set to make their way to campus. --
