STILLWATER – Oklahoma State football kicks the 2022 season off with a home game against Central Michigan. It was announced on Friday morning the game has been moved ahead a few days to Thursday, September 1.
Kickoff and television details for all the game in 2022 will be announced at a later date.
The game was previously scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 3. It marks the Pokes’ first season opener on a Thursday since they opened against Missouri State to start the 2018 season.
The Cowboys have been quite successful in Thursday games as they’ve gone 11-0 under head coach Mike Gundy. They’ve also gone 15-2 in season openers under Gundy as well.
