"I'm proud of the Big 12," the Cowgirls coach said. "We knew the top three teams in this conference were good. I know I'm not supposed to cheer for our rivals, but I'm for those other Big 12 teams. I think it makes our conference look really good. I'll be for them until it's time to play them."

Sigh.... Coach G still doesn't get it.... you don't cheer for the goons or the horns, not ever, especially with them pissing on the B12.

The conference does not need "to look good", the object is not to finish close to the top and to "look good", there are not moral victories.

We would look plenty good if we won the whole thing and neither OU nor UT made it to OKC for the event.

Coach KG is an OU alum. Doesn't surprise me he would say that.

Iron sharpens iron. Quality of competition is a tool in recruiting. We want to be better, but you have to have good competition.
