Watch: Oklahoma State Postgame Following 14-10 Extra Innings Win Over Arkansas
STILLWATER – It was an exciting 11 hours at O’Brate Stadium for Oklahoma State as the Cowboys scored 43 runs in two games to force the if-necessary game on Monday at 6 p.m. CT against Arkansas.
Head coach Josh Holliday, third baseman and pitcher Nolan McLean and pitcher Mitchell Stone met with the media following the game to discuss the day and making it to Monday evening.
The first game was a come-from-behind in dominating fashion as the Pokes throttled Missouri State, 29-15. Game two was much closer as the Cowboys had to battle back in both the ninth and 10th inning to beat Arkansas, 14-10.
In the two games, the Cowboys hit a combined seven home runs, which included a grand slam by Griffin Doersching in the game against MSU.
However, in both games, all three teams combined for 15 homers on the day and a combined 68 runs in two games.
