Landon Wolf to Finish Career as Grad Transfer
STILLWATER – Started out as a walk-on and finished his career as a captain in a bowl game, senior receiver Landon Wolf announced Monday morning his intentions to finish his career as a grad transfer.
Wolf is a redshirt senior out of East Central High School in Tulsa, OK. He walked onto the program in 2016, but would play in all 13 games his redshirt freshman season in 2017, mainly on special teams. He’d get his chance to prove what he could do on offense the next year when receiver Jalen McCleskey surprised everyone and transferred out of the program after the start of the 2018 seasons.
Wolf was moved to a starter at inside receiver and hauled in three catches for 116 yards and a touchdown against Kansas in his first game as a starter. He’d finished the season with 24 receptions for 229 yards and the one touchdown.
He’d have similar seasons his junior and senior seasons in Stillwater as he recorded 25 receptions for 189 yards and 24 receptions for 229 yards and one touchdown in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
