Oklahoma State Lands 2023 Four-Star Center Brandon Garrison
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State just landed a commitment from one of the top prospects in the 2023 class.
Brandon Garrison, a center out of Del City (OK) HS, and the No. 1 overall prospect out of Oklahoma, took to Twitter to announce his commitment to the Cowboys.
Mike Boynton and Co. landed Garrison over the likes of Arkansas, Florida, Houston, Kansas, LSU, Oklahoma, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech among others.
Garrison, who checks in at 6-9, 205-pounds, is currently ranked as the No. 55 overall prospect in the 2023 class according to the 247Sports composite, the No. 7 overall center in the class and the No. 1 overall prospect out of Oklahoma.
In June, Garrison was a member of USA Basketball’s U18 team for the 2022 FIBA U18 Americans Championship in Tijuana, Mexico, in which Mike Boynton was an on-court assistant coach. Garrison averaged six points, 4.3 rebounds and one assist per game en route to the USA bringing home a gold medal.
This marks the first commitment in the 2023 class for Boynton and Co. following the decommitment from Parker Friedrichsen a few months ago.
