Mike Boynton and Co. landed Garrison over the likes of Arkansas, Florida, Houston, Kansas, LSU, Oklahoma, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech among others.
Garrison, who checks in at 6-9, 205-pounds, is currently ranked as the No. 55 overall prospect in the 2023 class according to the 247Sports composite, the No. 7 overall center in the class and the No. 1 overall prospect out of Oklahoma.
In June, Garrison was a member of USA Basketball’s U18 team for the 2022 FIBA U18 Americans Championship in Tijuana, Mexico, in which Mike Boynton was an on-court assistant coach. Garrison averaged six points, 4.3 rebounds and one assist per game en route to the USA bringing home a gold medal.
This marks the first commitment in the 2023 class for Boynton and Co. following the decommitment from Parker Friedrichsen a few months ago.
