Tylan Wallace Tabbed Walter Camp All-American
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State senior Tylan Wallace just picked up his second All-America honor of the 2020 season. Walter Camp tabbed Wallace a second-team All-American, making him the 14th OSU football player to earn the distinction of earning multiple All-America honors in a single season as he was named to the AFCA All-America team last week.
With the honor, Wallace becomes the first Cowboy since Quinn Sharp became a three-time All-American between 2010-12. It also marks the 24th time since the 2008 season that a Cowboy has earned All-America honors and the fourth-straight season.
Wallace, who was also tabbed a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff, Earl Campbell Tyler Rose and Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year Awards, had a great senior season after coming back from a torn ACL in 2019.
Wallace put a bow on his stellar career as he led the Big 12 in receiving yards with 922, as well as 5.9 receptions per game and 92.2 receiving yards per game. His career average of 78.0-yards per game ranks him No. 1 among all active FBS players as well.
Wallace finished his career ranked fifth in school history with 205 receptions, 3,434 yards and 14 100-yard receiving games. He also ranks sixth when it comes to receiving touchdowns, 26.
