Fall Camp Closes With More Scrimmage, Two Days off and Prep for Central Michigan

STILLWATER – Fall camp is over and it went out with a bang. It was no light workout on Saturday morning for the Cowboys as they were back inside Boone Pickens Stadium for an 80-play scrimmage to wrap up camp, which followed a close to 130-play scrimmage on Friday.

The defense was eager to get back at it. Most of fall camp, and this is normal, even expected when you have a defense with the potential and talent that the Cowboys have the defense was the heavy hand virtually every day.

So in the "who showed up at scrimmage" it doesn't list Dom or DeAndre. Is that because they didn't show up well or because they're running 1 and 2 and were mostly held out?

Yes, you pretty much hit the nail on the head as both are proven and don't need the work as much as the younger guys, Jackson is probably the best blocker in pass pro which us important in keeping Soencer from getting killed via blitzes and heavy pressure off the efge!
