Cowboys and Bears Kickoff at 2:30 on FOX Oct. 1
Shortly after the Kansas State 41-34 win over No. 6 Oklahoma in Norman on Saturday, Sept. 24 it was announced that the Cowboys game with Baylor, part of the six-day window invoked by the Big 12 television partners ESPN and FOX. will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1 from McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas.
The Oklahoma State visit to Waco will be the second game on the schedule that day for FOX as they will lead in with the Big Noon kickoff, a Big Ten affair between Michigan and Iowa.
Baylor defeated Iowa State on Saturday in Ames, Ia. 31-24 to go to 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in Big 12 play. The Cowboys are 3-0 on the season and had Saturday, Sept. 24 off. Last season the two rivals in the Big 12 split their two meetings with Oklahoma State winning the regular season game in Stillwater 24-14 and Baylor won the Big 12 Championship Game 21-16.
In a weird twist Oklahoma (3-1) will viist TCU (3-0) at 11 a.m. on ABC, while Texas Tech (3-1) at Kansas State (3-1) will also be at 11 a.m. on ESPN+/Big 12 Now. It is easy to argue that the Tech at K-State game is the bigger game as they are both 1-0 in conference after beating Texas and OU respectively.
Iowa State (3-1) at Kansas (4-0) will be on ESPN2 at 2:30 p.m. and West Virginia at Texas is on FS1 at 6:30 p.m.
