STILLWATER – Headlined by a quartet of Extra Inning Softball Extra Elite 100 top 25 prospects, head coach Kenny Gajewski announced Oklahoma State softball’s class of 2023 on National Signing Day.

Taylor Anderson comes to Stillwater from Dripping Springs, Texas, where she was named 2022 District MVP and a 2022 Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star en route to District and Bi-District championships with Drippings Springs High School. The middle infielder played with the Lady Dukes club team and coach James Lamar during the 2022 summer season and was named All-Central Texas Offensive Player of the Year, awarded first team All-State honors and earned a spot on the Top Club National All-Tournament team.

Out of Murfeesboro, Tennessee, Rose Davis joins the Cowgirls as a four-year letterwinner at Middle Tennessee Christian High School, where she’s compiled a .531 batting average, with 52 hits – including 16 home runs – 51 runs scored and 52 RBI. Davis played a major role in leading her club team – Tennessee Mojo – to finishing the 2021 club season as a Premier Girls Fastpitch National Finalist.

Softball America’s ninth-ranked prospect in the country, Karli Godwin brings outstanding offensive production to the Cowgirls’ 2023 class. In her junior season at East Columbus High School in Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, the infielder batted .733 with 55 hits – including 18 home runs – and 53 RBI. She’s played club softball with Lady Lightning Gold, Wichita Mustangs and currently plays with Georgia Bombers Lewis out of Atlanta, Georgia, and most recently led the Bombers to a top 10 Alliance Nationals finish.

Nationally regarded as one of the most dominant two-way players in the nation, Katie Kutz – Softball America’s No. 6 recruit in the class of 2023 – has the accolades and career numbers to verify her impressive athletic ability. The 2021-22 Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year has compiled a 25-0 career record in the circle with a 0.27 ERA, to go along with a .460 batting average with 12 home runs and 63 RBI, during her time at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia. Coached by Suzy Willemssen, Kutz led Bishop O’Connell to Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Championship and Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Assocation Division I Championship titles in 2022.

Logan Pickelsimer, a 2022 All-Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference catcher and the 2022 All-District 6A-1 Defensive Player of the Year, will make the short trip from her hometown of Mustang, Oklahoma to join the Pokes in 2023. The lone catcher in Oklahoma State’s 2023 signing class, Pickelsimer most recently batted .393 and posted a .993 fielding percentage with four runners caught stealing in 2022 at Mustang High School with coach Lacy Darity.

From across the pond, Northampton, England native Tia Warsop signs with OSU as an accomplished hitter and baserunner. The left-handed outfielder slots in at No. 43 in Softball America’s 2023 Top 100 and averaged .583 at the plate with 81 hits, 66 runs scored, 23 RBI and 58 stolen bases in her junior season under coach Bobbi Cruff at Mansfield Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield, Texas. Internationally, Warsop earned a silver medal with Great Britain Senior Women’s Fastpitch team at the 2022 European Championship.

Rounding out Oklahoma State’s 2023 class, Cheyenne Wood joins the OSU program after a highly decorated high school career at Tishomingo High School in her hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. A three-time All-District 3A-8 first team outfielder and the 2022 Lake County Conference Offensive Player of the Year, Wood’s senior season at Tishomingo was highlighted by a .545 batting average, 61 hits – including five home runs – 55 runs scored, 32 RBI and a perfect 32-for-32 on stolen base attempts.
