Lexi Kilfoyl Procures Big 12 Softball Weekly Honors

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State softball's Lexi Kilfoyl has been honored as the Big 12 Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced today.

Kilfoyl joins Baylor's Dariana Orme as the only Big 12 student-athletes to receive more than one 2023 Big 12 weekly honor.

The senior righty elevated her season record to 8-1 with a pair of wins over North Texas and then-No. 20/22 Baylor in week seven. She also tabbed her second save of the season in the series finale against the Bears to complete the Cowgirls' conference-opening sweep.

In three appearances and 14.0 total innings of work, Kilfoyl maintained a 0.00 ERA while allowing only four hits and one walk; she kept opposing batters to a .085 batting average.

Kilfoyl has now made nine pitching appearances in which she kept opponents scoreless and has improved her season ERA to 1.33, which leads the team.

Kilfoyl and the Cowgirls ride their 11-game win streak into a midweek game at Tulsa on Wednesday at 5 p.m. CT.
