It Turns Out "Old Blue Eyes" Helped Schubart "Come Fly Away" with Three Home Runs

As Oklahoma State head coach Josh Holliday said most of the time when a player does something special there is no special story, but for Nolan Schubart's three home runs and two grand slams in one game there was a famous crooner that helped.

STILLWATER – The aftermath of a brilliant hitting performance last Sunday was that Cowboy freshman Nolan Schubart was named Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, again. The 6-5, 227-pound left-handed batter from Michigan was also named the national player fo the week by several outlets. Schubart went three-for-three and hit three home runs, a two-run homer with a grand slam home run on either side of it.
