Oklahoma State Injury Report for West Virginia
STILLWATER – Not much has changed for Oklahoma State since last week’s win over Kansas. The Cowboys were able to hold the lead and build on it offensively and get the win even with starting left tackle Dalton Cooper on the sidelines. Cooper is probable to start the game in Morgantown with the West Virginia Mountaineers. If Cooper goes as expected then that moves Jake Springfield back over to right tackle.
The Cowboys have seemed to be most effective on offense with the offensive line of Cooper at left tackle; Jason Brooks Jr. at left guard; Joe Michalski, who is playing really well, at center; Preston Wilson at right guard, and Jake Springfield at right tackle. Cole Birmingham is able to come in and spell at either guard or either tackle.
The hope is that Dalton Cooper can go as long as possible. That will be a wait and see situation.
The rest of what we’ve known for several games with wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling out with a wrist injury. Linebacker Justin Wright and safety Lyrik Rawls are both out after knee injuries and surgery.
The word is West Virginia may still be missing a starting offensive guard in Tomas Rimac and weak-side linebacker Trey Lathan.
