Garret Rangel is one of the most polished and well spoken recruits I have ever talked to. 

The interview we did with him is easily one of, if not the, best interviews I have ever done with an Oklahoma State commit. 

Robert Allen and I spoke with the Frisco Lone Star stud over the phone to record a podcast interview after he silently committed to the staff in late January. I also met with Rangel in person in Frisco to get a face to face interview.

I guess Rangel started as a sophomore at least. Did he play varsity as a freshman?

Looks like some Coach Glass and the training table and physical maturity will be good for him.

Is he a young HS Jr?

He was on varsity as a freshman but did not play, they had another older guy at QB. Started as a sophomore and threw for 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns. No big deal lol.

Yes, Garret Rangel is going to become best friends with Rob Glass whether Rangel knows that yet or not lol. And yeah he's fairly young but that's all the better in terms of his development. Hes already very polished and hes young so his ceiling is very high.
