The match began with doubles, where OSU mounted a comeback to win the point. The fifth-ranked pairing of Anastasiya Komar and Ange Oby Kajuru secured their 10th-straight doubles win, defeating the No. 7 duo of Avelina Sayfetdinova and Metka Komac, 6-3.

The Red Raiders answered on court three as Jermine Sherif and Andreea Lila bested Safiya Carrington and Kristina Novak, 6-3.

Down 5-3 with both other courts finished, Raquel Gonzalez and Ayumi Miyamoto battled back to win court two in a breaker, 7-6 (7-5), to claim the doubles point for the Cowgirls.

Taking momentum into singles, Oklahoma State would need to win just three of six courts. Texas Tech struck first, however, as No. 85 Cristina Tiglea beat No. 7 Komar, 6-2, 6-4.
